Type: War/Horror Synopsis: Western Front, 1917. After a assault on the German lines, the ten survivors of British Company Y get lost in the fog... They wander aimlessly in enemy territory until they stumble upon a German trench. The trench is filled with bodies, but apparently the Germans killed each others. In this trench their worst enemy is not German. Review:A really good movie. It'll make you feel like you're in that trench, wet to the bone and freezing. A must see... As far as "CoC worthiness" is concerned, you should NOT play No Man's Land or any scenario set during WWI without watching this movie first! Ratings:- Plot: 4
- Fun: 4
- Graphic: 5
- Overall: 4

*reposting from another thread* Although the finale gets a little bit disappointing, I liked the film for one reason: one of my most memorable CoC (and even roleplaying ) experience was when I ran my players through the agony of this masterpiece of an adventure: "No Man's Land" (Chaosium)....this same feeling of dread, of a malevolent presence invisible yet almost tangible, slowly eroding the characters'sanity...another film of the same "military-horror-survival" subgenre is this movie "starring " good old Andy "Gollum" Serkis as a true psycho during WWI, which makes it even closer to the above mentioned CoC adventure... both are good source of inspiration as far as mood is concerned in a war adventure... The "No Man's Land"" adventure would make a great prequel for a Delta Green adventure involving the Lloigors (great monsters !!), as military records of the 1918 incident could be buried somewhere in the vaults of some military agency found in the delta green Sourcebook...you could also easily change the whole setting to the Pacific Islands in the 1940s for example (although WW1 north of France was probably one of the worst sinkhole of despair ever...)
