Vietnam, October 1969
A reconnaissance platoon is sent behind enemy lines and falls into an ambush by Viet-Minh, most of them are killed. Their radio is destroyed before they can send an SOS message. The few survivors, the sergent and a handful of his men escape from the trap and try to make their way back to safety... But they get lost in the jungle and cross the Cambodian border. And not only are they where they're not supposed to, but they're lost in Tcho-Tcho territory... The real horror is about to begin! This new STT will describe the events which led to the fall of Delta Green. How did the Colonel who ordered the raid in Cambodia learned about the forthcoming summoning ritual? By hearing the tale we're about to write together! - Characters must all be military.
- 1 sergent and 3-4 soldiers.
- No "Rambo"
Character background should include: - Name
- Surname/Codename
- Rank
- Physical Description
- Personnal History
Feel free to devellop the background of your character as much as you like... The more the better! Reading of the Mana Brothers' DELTA*GREEN - ACROSS*THE*FENCE is required. You should at least take a look to the equipment list at the bottom of page 2 to know what equipment you are supposed to have. Would you have any question about this STT, please post it here!

Thanx Rick, but apparently it's not good enough to attract storytellers I had a few ideas for a basic scenario, on which to add the different contributors ideas... Well, maybe it'll need time to get started

The DGML MIB has just posted this: The Father of Knives is an avatar of Gnarly (the one represented on the cover of the DG Sourcebook). I thought this information might be useful to the devellopment of your story

Here is a list of some books that anyone interested can take a look at.
Secret Commandos by John L. Plaster SOG: A Photo History of the Secret Wars by John Plaster Project Omega by James E. Acre 15 Months In Sog by Thom Nicholson BLACKFOOT IS MISSING by OWEN, WILLIAM F. Reflections of a Warrior by Franklin D. Miller The Protected Will Never Know by Leigh Wade
The current suggested reading list has nothing which deals with across the fence operations.

I'm really sorry this is not starting up... I was eager to read it... I'd have joined if I wasn't so busy at work (I'm already slowing down the devellopment of Dead Marshes, I wouldn't want to slow this one too ) Good Luck Max

Is this still a living project? Or did it die before birth? If it's still alive I'm interested in joining... I'll try to come up with a character this week-end.
