I think that my absence comes to an end. Hopefully it's not too late! I have finally settled down (no more travelling around hotels for me) and I have a regular internet connection.
I can post next (thoughts which occur during the doctor's narrative) if noone minds.

I finally found the time to submit this. It obviously takes place while the doctor is going through the description of the two bodies. What's next?

Well, I think it's up to Oz to put an end to this meeting and start the next scene... Unless CM has something to add before of course ;D Seems we'll soon be stuck though if we don't find someone to incarnate the local Sheriff... *hint hint*

Well, sorry to have been so long... I'm kindda stuck with my post.
I can't see what we can do next. Do I simply put an end to the morgue scene and leave the story like that? Or do I move the story forward, sending Ferri to Lafourche Parish to meet the Sheriff we still have nobody to incarnate?
Seems we're near the point where we'll be really stuck if we follow the "evident" path! Any of you have an idea to postpone this moment a little?
I'll keep my post pending to be able to "twist the plot" if necessary.

I think that Ferri and Questor can chit-chat a little bit in the morgue or while leaving it. Maybe they can walk towards the offices and Rick in the guise of a secretary may offer some more info for the case.
If Quentin has to meet the sheriff then maybe he tries to do that and the sheriff is out and simply talks to his deputy. I know how this sounds but it's a temporary solution.
Of course, eventually the sheriff is needed! Rick, have you posted about this in Strange Aeons?

I think that Ferri and Questor can chit-chat a little bit in the morgue or while leaving it. I don't think they're really in the right "mood" to chit chat, Questor and Ferri are feeling rather bad and I really think Questor would act as much as an ***hole as possible to regain his composure and send Ferri off before "running outside for some fresh air"... That's if I caught Questor's vibe correctly of course He might eventually let his true self show and be more sympathetic for a few minutes ;D Well, I would like to avoid playing all NPCs, I create the victim to support my posts, you'll surely need secondary characters to support yours, do not hesitate to create them! It means you may create that secretary yourself Kafka... (If you feel like you need some info let me know) I was thinking the said secretary (or an analyst maybe?) could give Ferri the info on the locations of the bodies when they were discovered and he could go on the field to feel the vibe of the locations... Well, since the killer is the deputy i'd like to make him just a name to Ferri for a while (the Sheriff introducing him but Ferri not caring) but if we have to move forward that might be an option. Nope... I'm not a Strange Aeons member

That's if I caught Questor's vibe correctly of course I think you caught it right pal No... I don't like that idea I agree that would be a nice option... The "hero"of the story on his own, visiting the bayou for the first time, trying to understand the killer... That could make one or two nice (long) posts with maybe a phone call in between from the forensics guy to reveal new infos? Seems it's one of these times when we're forced to stop and agree onwhere we want the story to go... A little forward planning to set us up into the right direction before we can go back to posting more freely

When I said chit chat I didn't mean about the weather! I know that Ferri will want to ask Questor several questions about the killings, once he regains his composure. Questor may blow him off but he will try nonetheless. Also, Ferri completely disregarded Questor's reaction to the dead bodies because of his own issues. I thought that this would have a positive effect on Questor's egoism.
Ferri visiting the bayou is a nice idea. I think that he needs some info first so that it's more realistic since he hasn't been given a real breafing on the case yet. I also think that he somehow expects Questor to come along with him. The opposite will make indeed for a very interesting scene.
By the way, Ferri's mentality is not one of a chicken who is ready to run away! He has started going through several mental phases which he has never experienced before but their eventual manifestation will not spoil the story.

Okay, I've opened the door for Ferri to ask Questor, the said questions... I'll let you handle the discussion okay? If you feel like you miss info to write your post, just PM and ask all your questions to Rick... I think nobody suggested such a thing I think the character devellopment is quite important in the kind of story we're writing... that's why I've started to devellop the "duality" of Questor: apparently tough and cold outside but actually sensitive and lonely...
