Hey there folks, I guess I should start a thread on here and see who decides to answer it. I'd like to hear from everyone about there most memorable Cthulhu games that they have played in; what made them fun, the most memorable incidents that occured during the games, etc,... I never play in games, I always GM, but the best single session ever has to be the Cult of One scenario from Secrets. All was going well until Joe Quint (the investigator) went to Kelsey (the final cultists, who was resisting the pull, not to spoil too much) and a large demon appeared.
He uses his first shot to spray Kelsey's head up the wall (so he didn't turn halfway through - I thought that was very wise) and proceeded to start blasting the Haunting orror with his signature Desert Eagle.
It was down to about 3HP before it dived in for the kill. The player has always reminisced about how he would have won had he not been so paranoid about the artist feller.
