This forum seems to be of no use... No "ads" for online games, no online games at all actually! Well, I have to admit that this forum might be of no use to us at the present point of devellopment of the DG-Op:SW Boards. But do you think you will use it in the future? Or do you think it is totally useless and should be replaced by another feature? I'd really like the boards to be useful, the total inactivity of this forum shows that you found no interest in it yet, so it might be time to start and think of another use for this one ;D The Shoggot Pit could become a kind of "blog", a place for you to post about your ongoing campaigns. But that's only one of the solutions, I'm open to suggestions Let there be discussion!

I think this forum would be useful, but not while everybody's still in excited anticipation for op:SW. I know that the not-knowing-what-to-expect element has stopped me creating an rp here in case it's too similar to yours.
As for making this a discussion about your ongoing campaigns - isn't that what the SAN-Loss Lair is for?

I know that the not-knowing-what-to-expect element has stopped me creating an rp here in case it's too similar to yours. Frankly, that's not something I'm afraid of... Op:SW is not the common DG campaign and I would be really amazed if someone would create another RP which would look close to Op:SW (no, I'm not overconfident and self-satisfied ;D ) Actually the SAN Loss Lair was made for discussion between Keepers on subjects which would unreveal parts of the DG plots. I was thinking that The Shoggot Pit could include "reports" on the campaigns (even the RL ones) of our members... Of course this feature could be part of the SAN Loss Lair too... I was just throwing ideas in a kind of "lone brain storming" ;D

And perhaps people don't want to create rps here in case they just get overshadowed by Op:SW and ignored?

Another thing is the work that has to be put into an rpg (as shown by the time taken to get Op:SW going), and the... ahem... lack of member abundance here. Perhaps it seems to just be a total waste of effort. On a lighter note...

the... ahem... lack of member abundance here. Perhaps it seems to just be a total waste of effort. Well, CoC players are not _ that_ common, DG players are rarer still, we're just a small niche in the market... I think we can count on 100-150 members max in the future, but that will take time to achieve... We've gone a third of the way yet. This boards are somehow more active than Yog-Sothoth.com I think it's a feat somehow Maybe I'm just too impatient

Wow, you're right, that is a feat.
Is there no BRPS forum that is actually active?!

Wow, you're right, that is a feat. Well, we're largely ahead of YS.C as far as post per day per registered members ratio is concerned... And not that far behind in post per day ratio But YS has around 450 members and it seems that only 15 are really active... None that I know of... It depends on how you define 'activity'... If "lurker activity"counts then Yog-Sothoth is defenitely the most active
